HUMO presented its digital silk road strategy at the Fintech 360 International Conference in Yerevan

From April 27 to 29, 2026, the international FINTECH 360 conference took place in Yerevan, bringing together over 500 participants from 30 countries, including representatives of banks, payment platforms, IT companies, fintech startups, and global technology communities.

Key topics of the conference included the digital transformation of the financial sector, the development of cross-border payments, artificial intelligence, biometrics, and emerging technological models in financial services.

As part of the panel discussion “Key Trends in the Payments Industry,” Alexey Maslov, Advisor to the Chairman of HUMO, presented the HUMO Digital Silk Road concept – a large-scale initiative aimed at the digital transformation of the financial sector in Uzbekistan and Central Asia, combining the rich heritage of the Great Silk Road with modern technologies.

It was noted that the project is being implemented in a country with a population of over 38 million people, where the average age is 30 and mobile device penetration exceeds 92%.

During his speech, Alexey Maslov highlighted the development of the HUMO ecosystem, which brings together banks, payment organizations, IT companies, service platforms, and digital solutions for businesses and users. Today, HUMO is advancing a wide range of technological направления, including a SuperApp, the HumoPay platform, biometric payments, SoftPOS technologies, Smart POS solutions, virtual cash registers, and digital tools for retail and e-commerce.

Particular attention was given to the company’s international expansion and the strengthening of partnerships with global payment systems and technology partners, including Visa, Mastercard, UnionPay, and Alipay. HUMO is also developing projects related to digital settlements, cross-border services, and the implementation of new financial technologies.

It was emphasized that competition in the financial sector is no longer centered around individual products, but around comprehensive digital ecosystems capable of integrating payments, services, and user experience within a unified environment.

“Our goal is to build infrastructure that makes financial services and international payments faster, more convenient, and more accessible for both users and businesses. Today, digital payments are becoming part of the global economy, and Central Asia is gradually emerging as one of the key regions in this process,” said Alexey Maslov.

HUMO’s participation in FINTECH 360 is part of the company’s ongoing efforts to expand international cooperation, promote innovative financial solutions, and strengthen Uzbekistan’s position as one of the region’s most promising fintech hubs.
