HUMO National Payment System Holds Donor’s Day as Employees Take Part in Blood Donation Drive
On October 15, the HUMO National Payment System held Donor’s Day at its office — a corporate initiative aimed at supporting blood donation and raising awareness of its importance for saving lives.
HUMO employees took part in the initiative, demonstrating that social responsibility starts with personal involvement and that each person’s contribution can become an important part of a larger good cause.
The event took place right at the HUMO office, with the participation of medical specialists from the Republican Blood Transfusion Center. This format allowed employees to join the blood donation movement in their familiar work environment and help support the healthcare system.
The organizers paid particular attention to safety and informed participation. Before the event, employees received recommendations on how to prepare for blood donation, and immediately before donating blood, they underwent the necessary medical examination. The decision on each participant’s eligibility to donate was made by the Center’s specialists in accordance with established medical requirements.
Blood donation is one of the most accessible ways to help others. Donated blood is needed by patients undergoing complex surgery or treatment for serious illnesses, as well as in cases of trauma and emergency medical care. The need for blood is constant, and regular replenishment of blood supplies is vitally important.
For HUMO, Donor’s Day was not just a corporate event, but an opportunity to unite the team around values that go beyond professional activities: mutual support, compassion, and responsibility to society.
